KATHLEEN A. MELLEKY Kathleen Ann Melleky, 80, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2017 after her battle with cancer. Kathy was born in Hoboken, NJ on March 10, 1937 to the late Frank and Antoinette (Anita) Forsythe. After raising a family in Linden, NJ, she and her husband, Robert, retired to Ocean Isle Beach. She was a member of the Brick Landing Women's Club and the Brick Landing Ladies "Nine is Fine" golf group. Kathy was also active in the yearly golf fundraiser, "Rally for a Cure" to benefit Breast Cancer research. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 59 years, Robert; son, John Melleky of Bonita Springs, FL; and daughter, Maureen Melleky of Killingworth, CT. A celebration of life will be held at the Brick Landing Clubhouse on Wednesday, September 20 from 4 pm to 6 pm.
